SV Ried, Bury and Rochdale. 3 goals in 4 games for Danny and he doesn’t look like stopping anytime soon. At the moment with Hanley leaving and with Duffy and Marshall on the fence, we could potentially be losing some of our best players in the club. But one man who has picked us up and is carrying us towards the new season is Danny Graham a man who does not look like he is going to stop scoring anytime soon. He's showing energy, passion and a desire that has been lacking from most players at Blackburn for a long time.
Rhodes may be have been able to finish and Gestede may have been able to head, but one thing that Graham has that they don’t is that urge to score goals. After his damp spot at Sunderland people may have thought that Graham would have lost his scoring touch but he is proving those people wrong! And he only managed to get half a season on his last show for Rovers and he scored 7 goals. So with him about to make his full season for the club who knows how many goals he will get? 10, 15, 20? This could really be a big season for Graham who may be able to emulate his season with Watford or Swansea and Graham may even go for his biggest season yet and if he starts to fire in the goals who knows what we could achieve?
We needed a goal scorer last season and now we have him. When asked earlier today how I thought Blackburn would do this season I said you may as well flip a coin with heads being the top half of the table and tales being the bottom. As Blackburn fans we know that truly anything could happen but if Graham is hitting home then that anything may just be a bit better.
