As Christmas approaches and European league reach a third way through the season today we are going to look at Europe’s elite, the teams who striving to become one of the few teams throughout history who don’t get beaten for a whole season! So far this season after 12 or 13 games there are still 7 teams throughout Europe who are yet to face domestic defeat. Those teams are Barcalona, Valencia, Atletico Madrid, Manchester City, PSG, Inter Milan and Napoli. Today we are going to look at Europe’s most inform teams, look at the stats that keep them unbeaten and say if the have what it takes to go all the way lets go in points order:
Atletico Madrid: 3rd in La Liga, 27 points, 7 Wins and 6 draws: stand out result: 5-1 vs las Palmas
You may look at Atletico Madrid and think they have been lucky. 6 draws isn’t the best form but when you consider that 3 of those draws were against all the other top 4 including Real and the two other unbeaten teams Barcelona and Valencia. Valencia have arguable had the hardest fixture list having played all of the current top 6 and still remaining unbeaten. It seems that Madrid like to shut up shop when they play a bigger side there are no massive score lines they just get the job done, so I fully expect them to rise up the table, if Real’s poor league form continues I see no reason why they couldn’t they have a big 7 league games to play in which the will go into as favourites for each as every the play will be below them, if they can continue beating teams below them then I would predict Atletico to be in the top 3 by the time of the new year, but they need to turn some draws into wins if they’re looking to make ground.

Valencia: 2nd in La Liga, 31 points, 9 wins and 4 draws: stand out result : 4-0 vs Savilla
I have already written about Valencia so if you want to read that click here so I’ll keep this short, Valencia have looked very impressive indeed and are looking like monsters compared to what they have over previous seasons, high scoring games and a defence that for the most part has remained solid, with no European football Valencia defiantly have the fixture advantage against all other title rivals and that is what they are! Impressive matches against both Madrid teams and a 4-0 thrashing of 5th placed Savilla have shown how powerful this Valencia team can be, the match against Barcelona on Sunday which also controversially ended in a 0-0 draw shows how tight it is at the top and how good Valencia actually are to have matched one of the best teams in the world.

Barcelona: 1st In La Liga, 35 points, 11 wins, 2 draw: stand out result: 3-0 vs Juventus (Champions league)
Barcelona have arguable had the easiest run in the league this season with both Real Madrid and Valencia still to play, and when they did play Atletico Madrid they had their only hiccup of the season with a 1-1 draw and more ecently Valencia with whom they drew 0-0 with which may be a sign of how they will do against the other big teams. As previously mentioned the match vs Valencia this Sunday was telling, a 0-0 draw showed the strength of Valencia and the ability to match Barcelona, however when it comes to the Nou Camp Barcelona will be confident with a defence such as theirs having only conceded 4 goals in the league and 1 in the champions league they haven’t yet conceded two in a game so when your averaging 2.4 goals a match you have to say that Valencia really have a mountain to climb but as the league’s second top scorers with some big score lines to their name if there is a team at the moment who are going to stop Barca it is going to be Valencia. However overcome the task this Saturday then when Dembele returns for them I honest can’t see a team who will beat them!

Inter Milan: 2nd in Seria A, 36 points, 11 wins and 3 draws: stand out result: 3-2 vs AC Milan
Probably one of the most surprise packages Inter Milan are up there challenging for the rarely wide open Seria A title which has remained in Juventus for many many years, but this year looks like that could change as the once sleeping giants Inter Milan have well and truly awoken 4 points ahead of Juventus there match against the Old lady looks to be the biggest of the season as Napoli and Inter look to make ground ahead of the slipping champions. Mauro Icardi is carrying the team with 13 goals in as many games. A 0-0 draw with Napoli show how close the two teams are and with only 2 points to separate the Seria A is looking to become one of the most exciting leagues running into the new year.
Now for the table topers:

Manchester City: 1st in the Premier League, 37 points, 12 wins, 1 draw: stand out result: 7-2 vs Stoke City
Very similar stats to Barca you say? Well no surprise in Peps second year in charge of City since leaving Barca he has slowly turned Man City into a lethal machine having made the strongest start by any team in Premier league history. A team which is scoring loads and conceding few and when you consider that they have done a double over Napoli another unbeaten team currently top of Seria A then you realise who much class that they are starting to emit unbeaten in all competitions this season Pep’s men look to have got stronger and stronger with every game however this could all change in December when they have 9 games in quick succession with matches against rivals Manchester United and Spurs looking to be the two games that could finally see a team make ground to Man City. However if they go unbeaten through December then they will genuinely look like one of the strongest teams on the planet!

Napoli: 1st in the Seria A, 38 points, 12 wins, 2 draws: stand out result: 6-0 vs Benevento
Napoli are another team that I have been seriously impressed with, again a team I have written about this year, top of a usually dominated Seria A with one of the most deadly strike forces in world football. I had the pleasure of watching both Napoli and Manchester City play each other and honestly you could see why they are top f their league. To put pressure on a team twice who haven’t felt pressure all season shows the skill and pace they have, Napoli have been week in Europe however losing to both Manchester City and Shaktar Donetsk they have played the other title challengers Inter Milan and drew 0-0 but are yet to play Juventus which is their first game of the December run in. However unlike other teams on this list I do expect Napoli to crumble at some point, they have shown weakness in Europe and I fully expect the Old Lady to catch up sooner rather than later. However if they can defeat the challenge of Juve then who knows where they could go.

PSG: 1st in Ligue 1, 41 points, 13 wins, 2 draws: stand out result: 3-0 vs Bayern Muchen (Champ Lge)
By far and away the best performing team in the world at the moment: Cavani, Neymar, Mbappe are ripping France and Europe apart. It is going to take a monster of a performance to get past this team. Seriously I have never seen anything like it, yes they are playing in the French league, which is arguably easier but to see a team thoroughly decimate teams like they have been doing is scary. Do I think they will go the whole season unbeaten? Yes but not only that, they could go every completion unbeaten. I genially think there ae only two teams in the world that can beat them. Barcelona and Manchester City so until they play one of those two I can’t see them getting beat. I mean look what they did to Bayern?
So do you agree? Can any of these teams go all the way? Will one of them win the champions league? Could someone do the treble? Leave a comment and thanks for reading!
