The next challenge for these players is a very unpredictable affair against an MK Dons team who really haven’t started life in the second division as they would have hoped. They lie in 19th place with only 8 points to their name. Without the like of Deli Ali and Afobe the Dons just don’t have the team that they had last season.
Last time we played MK Dons was back in 2010 in a capital one cup match. And as is tradition in the league cup we were beaten by the lower league team. Now technically speaking this game will only be the second ever meeting between MK Dons and Rovers…sort of. Obviously if you count the old Wimbledon fc as MK Dons then we have played them many times. But as a brand and a team this is the first ever league encounter between MK Dons and Rovers. Which has left me in a tight position because there are no real results to go off. So you have to look at form.
Rovers will defiantly go into this game the favorites having only lost 1 in their last 6 games in a very controversial 2-1 loss to Fulham. Meanwhile The Dons haven’t won a game since the 25th of august at home to Cardiff in the capital one cup. Plus they have only had 1 point from there last 6 games.
So after looking at this and the form of the main man Jordan Rhodes I can’t really see us losing this one and id be disappointed if we don’t get the win. So I’m going for a 3-1 victory and the first away win for our boys. Jordan Rhodes to get the first goal of the game (put a bet on that one) #COYB #BringOnTheDingles
