Now this is one of my favourite transfers in recent years, not necessarily because the guys a good player but more because I love how we’re signing players wanted by other club just shows how well Big T is doing behind the scenes. That and he’s a player that I love on football manager so there’s that extra layer. But as ever when we sign a new player I’ve got to do a player profile!
Name: Bradley Paul Dack
Position: Attacking Midfielder
Age: 23
Total League appearances: 185
Total Career Goals: 38
Total Career assists: 33
Goal/Assist every: 2.6 games through whole pro career
Professional honours: League 1 team of the year 15/16, League 1 player of the year 15/16
I honestly couldn’t be happier with this transfer, I’ve not seen what the final fee was as of yet but this signing signals many things yet to come, proper money being spent for the first time in a while a manager who truly has a philosophy and knows what he is doing and I would imagine many wins next year.
Dack has experience and talent at only 23 he has a lot of growing and learning to do, if he can slot into our team well and keep up his goal/assist per game ratio it would be fantastic, finally a young player with attacking prowess and ability, he can be the technician that our squad has been begging for, for years. Him and Whittingham combined will be a force to be reckoned with and if we can keep our squad together with this manager who knows what we could do in the championship!
Maybe I’m getting over excited, maybe the bringing on of one of my FM fav’s has blown me over the top and thrown my future expectations of this squad and manager into the wind, but as I have said over and over again, This is Venkys era Blackburn, anything is possible.
