In the last few days Blackburn have been linked with ex-Cardiff midfielder Kim Bo-Kyung. At the end of the 2014/15 season Kim decided that he wouldn't be renewing his contract with recently relegated Wigan. But who is he and why should Rovers get him?
Firstly since 2012 Kim has made a total of 76 appearances for both Cardiff and Wigan. Scoring a total of five in his time. Rovers have a good track record of signing players from Cardiff in recent times with both fan favourites Craig Conway and Rudy Gestede coming from the Welsh team.
What could he do for the team?
Kim Bo-Kyung would add a completely new dimension to Rovers with his skill, speed, vision and brilliant stamina. I believe that the South Korean would be an almost perfect replacement for the departed Tom Cairney. Kim would also bring the talent of international play having appeared for South Korea 32 times not including his appearance in the Olympics.
I would sign him in a heartbeat.
